Losing is ineffable. There is nothing that you can do to avoid it!
For the past few weeks and months, I have been struggling with my career, health, destiny in life, and now, the most recent one is my personal relationship. It does look like there is nothing left in my life. When I’ve lost everything in life, suddenly, I come to realize that I have nothing to lose too! There is no sadness, regret, or anything like that. Everything has to come to an end at some point. And this is the time for that!
Everyone must have had beautiful time together with their love ones. Everyone must have had great time with their family and friends. On the other hand, everyone also must have had difficult time with their love ones, family, and their dearest friends. It also happen to me too. Believe it or not, I am a very sympathetic person. I do not want to hurt others and I hope none wants to hurt others too. But, when people tend to hurt my feeling and my life, the natural self-defense mechanism starts to emerge automatically. It is the nature of human being. That’s the way how human has been created. The way how human can survive up till now.
The good news is, however, when you have a lot of bullshit happening in your life, suddenly, you don’t feel too much hardship and painful experience anymore. It becomes something natural. Just like you come to understand that an old leaf has to die and fall out from its tree. And there is nothing that you do to avoid and hold it. You cannot put anything to fix it. You cannot glue the leaf in order not to fall out. You cannot hold it with your hands. You may be able to do so, but how long will you be able to hold it? At some point, you must be tired and want to let it go. And that’s what happen in our relationship in this world. There is something in life that you cannot hold because it’s meant to leave your life. There is something in life that you must let go. Something that even if you try very very very hard to hold it near and dear in your heart and your life, you must let it go. It is true in every aspect of my life. From what I have understood so far, the harder I am trying to keep and hold something in my life, the more trouble that I am getting. It is better to let things go. Something better may or may not come into my life anytime soon. It is all about perspective in life. The only thing that we can do as a human is living this life till we die.
By keep on doing what we truly believe to be true in life, is the only way to survive in this life. — Teddy Lesmana —
